Nice.

But there are a couple of tiles that stand out in the pattern. One has a number of light pieces and another has one very light piece. The overall look is very effective.

Excellent floor with a lot of potential Tim Smile

I agree with Bil that some pattern pieces stand out a bit, but that may actually be a good thing, since in realitly a lot of the floor is probably made from the same batch of trees. That will give you some planks that look a bit alike anyway Wink

I think the nails stand out a bit too much. They may look better a bit darker. But that's probably more a personal preference Wink

Thanks guys! Yeah I think the color needs to be evened out a bit. The texture itself has those highlights in it and I think I need to perform a few high pass filters to even out the tone. I think I am on the right path though.
It's tough to find a texture that has enough variations to allow you to use the clone tool without the possibility of repeating yourself too often. Oddly enough, I barely used the dodge/burn tools.
I think I have the process figured out I just need to work on the wood texture. The cover piece that makes the boards and nails seemed to turn out OK.
